- I have just purchased a VGA-adaptor (23pin-15pin) to use with my multisync
- VGA monitor but I am having problems getting a display.
-
- I have tried setting the monitor type in screen-mode prefs to multisync or
- dblPAL but upon rebooting I get moving lines for a few seconds followed by
- a pale white screen.
-
- A few other things I have noticed though, if I have the adaptor plugged in
- without the monitor attached my usual PAL TV picture works fine, but if I
- have the monitor attached as well, either switched on or off, the PAL TV
- picture is just black. Also if I have the screen-mode set to multisync or
- dblPAL my TV display is corrupted but I can still that it is Workbench,
- once the adaptor and monitor are attached my TV picture goes back to being
- black.
-
- My multisync VGA monitor works, as I use it on a PC with a VGA display card.
-
- Could someone please tell me what is wrong and why I can't get a picture.
-
- Thanking you in advance.
