  12. I have just purchased a VGA-adaptor (23pin-15pin) to use with my multisync
  13. VGA monitor but I am having problems getting a display.

  15. I have tried setting the monitor type in screen-mode prefs to multisync or
  16. dblPAL but upon rebooting I get moving lines for a few seconds followed by
  17. a pale white screen. 
  18.  
  19. A few other things I have noticed though, if I have the adaptor plugged in
  20. without the monitor attached my usual PAL TV picture works fine, but if I
  21. have the monitor attached as well, either switched on or off, the PAL TV
  22. picture is just black.  Also if I have the screen-mode set to multisync or
  23. dblPAL my TV display is corrupted but I can still that it is Workbench,
  24. once the adaptor and monitor are attached my TV picture goes back to being
  25. black.

  27. My multisync VGA monitor works, as I use it on a PC with a VGA display card.

  29. Could someone please tell me what is wrong and why I can't get a picture.
